I've seen photos of Neolithic artifacts such as combs, model chairs, etc., in which the basic design has changed little, if at all, in seven or eight millennia. Neolithic art motifs, moreover, can still be seen today in African art, Russian and Ukrainian decorated eggs, Grecian pottery, and Balkan cross-stitch designs. I've been studying Neolithic art on my own for a number of years, and make ornaments inspired by this dynamic art form. I've got some images of these at http://lairmistress.imagekind.com , should you be curious...
